PVR Cinemas announced the launch of the nation’s first multiplex located within an airport complex on Wednesday. This five-screen building is located at PVR Aerohub in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In addition to benefiting nearby residents, the cinema will meet the entertainment needs of arriving and departing passengers, the multiplex company said.
The cinema can accommodate 1,155 spectators and is equipped with state-of-the-art cinema technology, including 2K RGB+ laser projectors, RealD 3D digital stereoscopic projection for crystal-clear, ultra-bright images, and advanced Dolby Atmos high-definition immersive images. audio.
PVR Cinemas will now have 12 facilities with 77 screens in Chennai and consolidate a scaffold with 88 screens in 14 facilities in Tamil Nadu. As a result, the number of screens in South India will increase from 53 properties to 328.
