Odisha: Doctors ran to a truck driver after getting information that he has symptoms of monkeypox

Odisha: An alert has been issued across the country regarding monkeypox, although the outbreak has not increased yet, but on Saturday, health officials were shocked when the department got information that a truck driver resident of Jagatpur had symptoms of monkeypox.

On this, the department sent the team to the driver’s house for investigation and it was found that he had a skin related disease. At the same time, in compliance with the guidelines, other family members were also examined by the team, but no one found any symptoms like monkey pox.

CMO Dr. Balveer Singh told that the team was sent on the information. Although no symptoms like monkeypox have been found. In compliance with the guidelines, the surveillance cell has been ordered to monitor for 24 hours. The doctor involved in the team has told about the skin related disease to the young man.
