Rape convict in Jabalpur gang-raped the victim after being released on bail

A shocking case of gang rape has come to light in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

There, the convict, who was jailed for two years for rape, along with his friend, gangraped the same victim again at knife point as soon as he came out on bail.
During this, the convict’s friend also made a video of the incident. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case of gangrape and started searching for the accused.

The accused had raped the victim even two years ago

Jabalpur’s Patan Thanaprabhari Asif Iqbal told that the gangrape victim is currently 19 years old, two years ago when she was a minor, accused Vivek Patel raped her.

On the complaint, the police arrested him and the court convicted him and sentenced him to two years in jail.
He told that Vivek was released on Jamnaat in the year 2021. Since then he wanted to take revenge on the victim.

Accused gang-raped at knife point

Thanaprabhari Iqbal told that a month ago accused Vivek had come to his house with his friend Ramu Patel. During that time, when there was no one at home, Vivek raped the victim at knife point.

He told that both of them also made a video of the girl after raping in turn and while leaving, also threatened her to withdraw the old case. He had said that if the case is not withdrawn, he will make the video viral.

Police is looking for the accused

Police Station Iqbal said that on the basis of the complaint of the girl, a case has been registered against both the accused under gang rape, criminal conspiracy and IT Act. Two teams have also been formed to arrest the accused. Search is on for both the accused and they will be arrested soon.

He said that the police is also checking the social media accounts of the accused and confirming that the videos were not uploaded.

Let us tell you that the crime of women in Madhya Pradesh is not taking its name to stop. If you look at the police figures, every year rape cases are increasing in the state.

In the year 2019, 4,653 cases of rape were registered in the state in the year 2020, 4,552 and in the year 2021, 5,271 cases were registered.
Of these, 85 per cent cases were filed by live-in women against their partners.
