Karnataka-based investors expressed their strong desire to invest in Uttar Pradesh at an interstate business meeting led by Deputy Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday.
This conference is part of the Pioneer Agreement and invites companies to the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit to be held next month.
Team Yogi Adityanath started their domestic roadshow in Mumbai and so far they have held roadshows in Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and many other places, attracting investment offers worth thousands of rupees.
The Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 will be held in Lucknow from 10-12 February, and the Administration, along with several countries, is reaching out to other Indian states for investment opportunities and inviting them to the event.
Top companies such as Infosys and Ola attended the B2G conference. Santosh Ananthapura, Corporate Affairs Director of Infosys, Mohit Sevakramani, Managing Director of Ola Electric, and Group CFO GR Arun Kumar met with Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya to propose an investment in Uttar Pradesh.
A meeting was also held with Karnataka Chambers of Commerce Association President BV Gopal Reddy and Kisan Craft Ravindra Aggarwal BT Executive Director.
Besides this, Arunakar Mishra, MD and CEO of Zensar Aerospace and Information Technology, expressed his desire to invest in Uttar Pradesh’s aerospace sector.
Besides well-established companies, young entrepreneurs also attended the meeting and expressed their desire to work in various sectors in Uttar Pradesh.
Ravindra Agarwal, Chairman of Kisan Craft Limited, said his company is interested in investing in UP’s agricultural sector.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has changed the way people think about Uttar Pradesh. Our company is very happy to invest in the transforming UP,” said Agarwal.
Additionally, Arubito’s CMD Gururaj R Itigi said his company wants to set up a hardware manufacturing plant and a semiconductor plant in UP.
“During Yogi Adityanath’s tenure, a lot of development work has been done in Uttar Pradesh, especially in the infrastructure sector. We are a trusted brand in semiconductor manufacturing and UP is a hub for semiconductor manufacturing. This development journey in Uttar Pradesh has increased employment in the state. It will bring prosperity,” he said.
