On Friday, the local administration issued an injunction under Article 144 of the CrPC while maintaining security ahead of Republic Day.
As per the order issued by District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav, things like flying drones, ultralight aircraft, gliders, hot air balloons, kites and Chinese ultralights will be banned till January 26th.
Yadav ordered cyber cafes, guesthouses, hotels, paid guest accommodations, landlords and other office operators to keep records and identification of tenants, servants, visitors and guests.
“An order has been issued for security reasons to curb the activities of antisocial elements on the occasion of Republic Day.
“Actions will be taken against those who disobey orders under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” the local administration said in a statement.
