IPL: The Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB have taken a exit from the IPL 2023 presented by Tata. Finally, after much time former Indian team captain Virat Kohli has opened up about RCB’s exit from the match. He expressed his disappointment over not so good performance by Faf du Plessis and Co. in this season. The team started off with some great wins but couldn’t reach to the finals. This is the 16th season of IPL and so far RCB has not won even a single season.
Virat Kohli thanks loyal fans
The last match that RCB played was against Gujarat Titans (GT). GT defeated RCB in the final League game of IPL 2023. The match was played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli opened up about the game loss and tweeted saying “A season which had it’s moments but unfortunately we fell short of the goal”. He then continued to say that he was Disappointed but they must hold their heads high. The cricketer also thanked their loyal supporters and said they are grateful for backing them every step of the way.
The game between RCB and GT was interesting for the fans of both team has there were ups and downs. On one hand Kohli did a great job and made a century which would greatly support the team. On the other hand, the Shubman Gill headed team smashed RCB. Shubhman also played 104 off 52 balls which led to their victory. The RCB had to chase for 197 for 5 in 20 overs which they were not able to do.

However, after RCB’s exit due to good game play by GT specially by Shubman Gill, RCB fans took it to the heart and some started trolling and abused him as well as his sister on the internet. This has upset many other players and fans. GT fans said this type of behavior is not acceptable at all, not from any franchise fans. Let us remind you that few days ago “Shubman had said in an interview that when he was 12-13 years old, he used to follow Virat Kohli the most and he has been his Idol. He said “I learnt a lot from Virat bhai, his passion and commitment motivate me”.
