Chasing the target of 100 runs, the Indian team defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets on the basis of a blistering half-century innings by Smriti Mandhana. Smriti Mandhana scored an unbeaten 63 runs in 42 balls, hitting 8 fours and 3 sixes. Shefali Verma scored 16 runs in 9 balls while S Meghna scored 14 runs in 16 balls. Jemima Rodrigues remained unbeaten on 2 runs. India won the match by scoring 102 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 11.4 overs.
