Defending the target of 191 runs, the bowlers of the Indian team bowled excellently and never gave the West Indies a chance to play freely, taking wickets at regular intervals. While Avesh Khan spoiled the start of the Windies by taking the first two wickets, Arshdeep Singh shook the lower order of the Windies.
