Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said attack on the government.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a big attack on the government for sealing the office of Young Indian Limited at Herald House in Delhi in connection with the ongoing investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the money laundering case.
On Thursday, on the charge of BJP running away from the investigation, he said that the government is trying to scare us, but understand one thing that we are not afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
background
ED had sealed the office on Wednesday
The ED had on Wednesday sealed the office of Young Indian in the Herald House building in Delhi.
The reason behind this was given that no one was available in the office during the search, hence the agency could not complete the necessary search. In such a situation, the agency has also pasted a notice not to open the premises without prior permission after sealing the office.
Since then the Congress has been furious over this action.
Rahul Gandhi said attack on the government
On ED’s action, Rahul Gandhi said, “Government is trying to scare us, but listen, we are not afraid of Narendra Modi. Got it. Do whatever you want to do. It doesn’t matter.”
He further said, “Which is our job, to protect the country, to protect democracy, to maintain the harmony of the country. That is my work and I will continue to do that. Whatever they do, it doesn’t matter.”

Now there will be no solicitation – Congress
After the action of ED, Congress tweeted, ‘No solicitation, now there will be a fight.’ On this, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that Congress leaders are talking about fighting, not soliciting. Earlier they used to say that there would be Satyagraha and now they are talking about Rann. What do you want after all?
Patra said that there will be neither run nor run from the corrupt. Run in English means to run away and we will not allow Congress to run away in this matter.
Police deployed soldiers outside Congress office
Anticipating protests by Congress workers after the ED action, the police have deployed a large number of soldiers outside the Congress headquarters at 24 Akbar Road.
The Congress claimed that the police has deployed police force by putting up barricades outside the residence of party president Sonia Gandhi and also outside the residence of Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress alleges that the government wants to suppress their opposition.
