Nitish Kumar resigns as Chief Minister of Bihar, breaks alliance with BJP

Bihar: Today chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar resigned as CM of Bihar also breaks alliance with BJP as he submitted his resignation to Governor Phagu Chauhan. Meanwhile, he is likely to tie-up with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led opposition. After tendering his resignation he leaves for the residence Rabri Devi, Patna.

While resigning he also gave support letter of 160 MLAs and staked claim to form the government. Where as Union Minister RK Singh said “15 yrs of RJD rule took the state backwards, CM Nitish Kumar also said this multiple times. How will he justify going into an alliance with RJD whom he said is corrupt? All of this is politics for power, there’s no morality, and he should be ashamed”.

Chirag Paswan on the other hand is demanding to impose President’s rule in Bihar and has made serious allegations on Nitish Kumar of insulting people’s mandate that too for the second time.
