Manish Sisodia titles CBI questioning as Mental Harassment, remand extended till 6th March

Manish Sisodia’s hearing was held today in Rouse Avenue Court after his 5 days CBI remand. He was arrested by the CBI on February 26, Sunday, after 9 hours of investigation in link with the Delhi Liquor policy case.

CBI has further asked the court to extend Sisodia’s remand by 3 days. However, Sisodiya has said in the court that CBI is repeatedly questioning him the same question for 9 to 10 hours which he titled as mental harassment. Further senior advocate Dayan Krishnan from Manish Sisodia’s side opposed the CBI’s application seeking three more days of remand.

He stated that CBI seeking an extension of remand is not justified. On the other hand, CBI has told the court that Manish is still not Cooperative with the questioning and the investigation.

The Court has extended his remand till 6th March and his hearing will be held on March 10.
