Ghulam Nabi Azad would announce a new political party within 10 days

Weeks after resigning from the House of Representatives, veteran leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said on Sunday that the new party would be announced within 10 days. The 73-year-old leader stepped down from the harsh old woman party last month after raising several questions about the parliament’s internal functioning.

Azad – in the midst of showing his strength in Baramulla – spoke to reporters on Sunday. He is also holding public rallies in Jammu to strengthen his electoral base. “We will announce a new party in 10 days,” he said in an interview with news agency ANI.

The former prime minister of Jammu and Kashmir says his supporters have grown since he left parliament. Several party leaders have resigned after Ghulam Nabi Azad announced his resignation. He was associated with Congress for nearly 50 years.

On Saturday, the veteran leader told ANI news agency that “in Jammu, we met about 400 people from delegations from 30-35 constituencies.” “They supported them… they will be part of every party I create,” he asserts.

Sunday’s rally is the first since GN Azad left Parliament. After the barramula rallies, Azad will hold separate rallies in Kufwara and southern Kashmir. His choice to hold his first rallies in Baramula indicates that election importance was attached to the place.

GN Azad’s efforts to mobilize support are also being captured in the photos he is sharing on social media.
