BJP slams Sisodia over liquor policy scam, said “Changed 4 mobile phones in a day…”

On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party won Delhi’s Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia one day ahead of the national capital vote in a citizens’ election in what was seen as a direct battle between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the Indian National Party (BJP). (Manish Sisodia) doubled down on attacks.

BJP’s Sambit Patra said that Sisodia, which had been named in the Delhi liquor policy investigation, was ‘totally involved’ and that he had lost his mobile phone for months after the Central Bureau of Investigation filed a lawsuit against him. 4 times a day, 14 times. .

“Manish Sisodia changed 4 mobile handsets a day after CBI’s FIR and changed 14 handsets in 2-3 months. He may have consulted Delhi’s Prime Minister (Arvind) Kejriwal, AAP leader Vijay Nair. Liquor Scam accused Amit Arora of Sunny Marwah destroying digital evidence,” Patra said at a press conference at BJP HQ in Delhi.

Patra also claimed that Sisodia played a role in his fraud, but he presented no evidence to support his claim. “He’s not only deep-throated, but totally engaged…”

“A few days ago, Arvind Kejriwal said that Manish Sisodia had a clean slip… The fraud that occurred in the excise policy was not a fraud because the CBI and the ED (Enforcement Department) had (a) provided a clean slip. Manish Sisodia… That there are no bills…”

However, the BJP leader claimed that the accused destroyed 170 mobile phones through ‘massive digital evidence destruction’, and Sisodia claimed to have consulted people for this.

“According to the document, the FIR dated 17 August 2022 was registered against Manish Sisodia by the CBI. The Office Memo (OM) stated that Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia, then Excise Commissioner Arava Gopi Krishna and others were instrumental in issuing the order. “By giving unfair advantages to those in the excise policy, it benefits only a few,” he declared.

Patra presented what the ED said was a remand note filed with the Delhi Court.

As Delhi prepares for Sunday’s citizens’ referendum, the BJP and AAP intensify their attacks on each other. Sisodia hit the BJP earlier this week, declaring that the Saffron Party had turned Delhi into a garbage dump while managing the city’s municipality for 15 years.
