Vande Bharat Express train between Howrah-New Jalpaiguri gets attacked for the second time

West Bengal: Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express train gets attacked for the second time after it’s recent launch in West Bengal. The train was attacked by unknown miscreants who pelted stones on the windows leading to damages. This happened in Murshidabad district’s Farakka in West Bengal on Saturday evening and will be investigated.

Similar incident where miscreants pelted stones on the moving train happened earlier this year just a month ago that too with the same train. “This is a very unfortunate incident. It will be investigated,” Eastern Railway chief public relations officer, Kausik Mitra stated news agency ANI.

As of now, no injuries have been reported due to the attack on the high speed Vande Bharat train.
