Several parts of India including Delhi NCR hit by thunderstorm, hailstorm, temperature below 15.4° C

Several parts of India experienced thunderstorm today according to IMD reports. State like Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Jammu, Kashmir, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Gilgit and West Bengal saw heavy rain today.

IMD report showed that isolated areas of Delhi NCR and some parts of Chhattisgarh where hit by hailstorm and the temperature was as low as 15.4 degrees Celsius. It is being reported that light rain and cloudy Sky accompanied by gusty wind will be hovering over Delhi for the next 2 days. The speed of wind is being predicted to be around 30 to 40 km per hour.

IMD had alerted that hailstorm may harm crops, animals and people in open places. Twitter users who were in areas such as Delhi’s Ayanagar shared the view of hail storm on Twitter. One person wrote hail storm in Delhi. Look at the video below
