Railway Jobs: In the midst of the opposition’s movement from Parliament to the road regarding inflation and unemployment, the Central Government said that from 2014 to 2022, a total of three and a half lakh people have been given employment by the Railways. Railway Minister expressed commitment: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that between 2014 and 2022, Railways has given employment to 3,50,204 people. He said that in the commitment made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide employment to 10 lakh people, railways will also play an important role and it will give jobs to 1.40 lakh people. whose process is in progress.
Railways gave jobs to 18 thousand people this year: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Railways has offered 18,000 jobs this year. In the context of West Bengal, the Railway Minister said that many projects were announced there in the past, but despite all the efforts of the Railways, it could not get the land.
Railway Minister took a jibe: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took a jibe at Mamata Banerjee on the opposition hearts and said, “Some people declare, some people work… We believe in working, not talking.” Vaishnav said that work on the projects would be started as soon as the land is available in the state.
Over 2.97 Lakh Posts Vacant: The Central Government told Parliament on Friday that by the end of 2021, more than 2.87 lakh posts were vacant in the Indian Railways, while in June 2022 this number increased to more than 2.97 lakh. The government also said that no post in the Railways has been abolished during the last three months.
