One has to work hard to make a country
On this occasion, while addressing the Har Ghar Jal Utsav program organized here through video conferencing, the Prime Minister also said that hard work is not required to form the government, as hard work is needed to make the country. He said, it happens with everyone’s effort. All of us have chosen the path to build the country. That is why we are constantly solving the present and future challenges of the country.
PM targeted the previous government
Targeting the previous governments, the Prime Minister said that those who do not care about the country, they do not care about the present or future of the country. He said, such people can do big things for water but can never work with a big vision for water. The Prime Minister said that under Jal Jeevan Mission, seven crore rural households have been connected with piped water facility within just three years, whereas in the seven decades of independence, only three crore rural families of the country had piped water facility. Was. This is no ordinary achievement, he said.
Piped water available to 10 crore rural families
The Prime Minister said that today 10 crore rural households of the country have been connected with the facility of piped clean water. Modi said that public participation, stakeholder participation, political will and full utilization of resources are the four strong pillars of the success of Jal Jeevan Mission. This, he said, is a great success of the government’s campaign to deliver water to every household. This is a great example of everyone’s effort.
