On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the team of human assistance and disaster relief which were assigned to help the earthquake hit Turkey as well as Syria.
PM Modi through a tweet interacted with those personnels who were deployed in Turkey and Syria under ‘Operation dost’. He said that the efforts that these personals have put for humanity is commendable and the relief measures have turned out to be of great support to the victims of the quake.

All the three NDRF teams that were reportedly deployed in both the nations after the earthquake occurred on February 7 have returned safely. Prime Minister Modi had directed these teams to provide all possible assistance to affected countries.
“Final NDRF team under #OperationDost returns home from Türkiye. 3 Teams of 151 @NDRFHQ personnel & dog squads extended assistance to earthquake affected Türkiye,” Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated.
