Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missiles: India has achieved another achievement amidst the constant challenges from China and Pakistan. Amidst security challenges, India launched Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided MissileLaser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, ATGM) has been successfully tested. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO and Indian Army on this success.
Successful test from Arjun tank: Indigenously developed this laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missiles) was successfully test fired by DRDO and Indian Army from Battle Tank Arjun in KK range today i.e. on 4th August with the support of Armored Corps Center and School Ahmednagar. India’s strength has increased further with the successful test of ATGM missile.
DRDO ATGM (Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missiles) with multi-platform launch capability. Presently technical evaluation test is going on with 120 mm rifled gun of ATGM MBT Arjun tank. With today’s trials, the stability of the ATGM’s ability to engage targets from minimum to maximum has been successfully established.
Successful trials in different ranges: The missiles struck with precision and successfully hit targets at two different ranges. All-Indigenous Laser Guided ATGM Missile (Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Guided Missiles) Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) uses Tandem High Explosive Anti-Tank (Heat) warheads to destroy protected armored vehicles.
