Apple to ship iPhone 14 models made in India worldwide as per report

Apple has been manufacturing devices in India for a long time.

California tech company Apple can launch its latest iPhone 14 series next month.

The company has been manufacturing devices in India for a long time, but they are manufactured from China and sent worldwide.

For the first time, apart from China, Apple will ship iPhone 14 series devices worldwide to be manufactured in India.

Indications related to this have come from popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apart from China, there will be shipments from India as well.

TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has indicated that Apple supplier Foxconn will ship devices from its production site in India to China as well.

This is going to be the first time, because before this, the production of iPhones in India is only about a quarter of the production in China.

It is clear that in the second quarter of 2022, iPhone manufacturing in India can accelerate.

Apple wants to reduce dependence on China

Kuo clarified that India and China have a huge capacity gap in terms of shipments, but mass production and shipment of devices to a non-Chinese production site is an important step.

“This decision makes it clear that Apple intends to minimize the impact of geographic and political conditions on its shipments and supplies, for which India could be the next market,” he wrote in a tweet.

These models are produced in India

Apple is already manufacturing the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models in India.

The company’s best-selling devices in India are also associated with this series.

The best selling device of the iPhone 13 series in the country is the standard iPhone 13.

Apart from Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron manufacture Apple devices in India and work is underway to increase the production capacity of their plants.

Manufacturing in Vietnam and Malaysia

According to previous reports, apart from shifting the production base of iPhone from China to India, Apple may start manufacturing of iPad models in Vietnam this year.

Apple has also asked its suppliers to increase production of the HomePod Mini in Vietnam.

Apart from this, Apple has started production of its Mac mini in Malaysia and production of its MacBook can also start from Vietnam this year.

There will be four models in the iPhone 14 series

Four iPhone models have been revealed in Apple’s new iPhone 14 series.

According to previous leaks and reports, there could be two ‘non-pro’ and two ‘high-end’ models in the iPhone 14 lineup.

It is speculated that the lineup will include iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro with 6.1-inch screen size, apart from iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max with 6.7-inch screen size.
