Jammu Kashmir: The security forces have got great success in the fight against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces on Sunday arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist. Giving information about this, the Indian Army said that during a joint operation of 26 Assam Rifles, JKP and CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist has been apprehended in the highlands of the Elosa forest.
War-like goods recovered from the arrested terrorist
The Indian Army said that war-like items have been recovered from the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist arrested during the search. Earlier on Saturday, two terrorists were arrested by security forces in Sopore of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Giving information about this, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said that two pistols, two pistol magazines and 11 cartridges have also been recovered from these two arrested Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists.

Terrorists were looking for opportunities to attack security forces and civilians
Both the arrested terrorists have been identified as Tariq Ahmad Wani son of Late Bashir Ahmed Wani and Ishfaq Ahmed Wani son Ali Mohammad. Both are said to be residents of Rangreth, Old Airfield, Srinagar. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the arrested terrorists are hybrid terrorists of banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and were constantly on the lookout for opportunities to attack security forces and civilians. A case has been registered against both the terrorists in Rafiabad’s police station Dangiwacha and further investigation is still on.
