The Indian Army has announced the commencement of recruitment for Agniveer 2023. Interested candidates can register for the recruitment process by visiting the official website of the Indian Army at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
As per the official notification, the online registration process for the Agniveer recruitment will begin on February 18, 2023, and continue until March 20, 2023. The recruitment drive will be conducted in various cities across the country, including Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Jalandhar.
Eligibility criteria
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must be between 17.5 and 23 years of age, and possess a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must meet the physical and medical standards set by the Indian Army.
The recruitment process will consist of four stages. A written examination, physical fitness test, medical examination, and an interview. Candidates who qualify in all stages of the selection process will be appointed to the Agniveer division of the Indian Army.
The Agniveer division is a specialized unit of the Indian Army that is responsible for handling high-tech weapons and equipment. It is also involved in counter-terrorism operations and plays a crucial role in maintaining national security.
