Har Ghar Tiranga: ‘No problem, at least the tricolor is there’, Sambit Patra slams Congress leaders

Har Ghar Tiranga : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the Congress for putting up a picture of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as a DP (display picture) with the tricolor in his hand on its social media profile. The party said that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi should think outside the family and allow his leaders to put up his picture with the tricolour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently called upon people to put ‘tricolor’ as the profile picture of their social media accounts. After this, many BJP leaders had put the tricolor in the profile picture of their social media accounts, but many party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, took the tricolor in their hands on their social media profiles on Wednesday. When asked about this, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that there is no issue. At least the tricolor is there. After this, targeting the Congress, he said, “Dynastic politics should not be done on every issue… They have put a picture of their leader with the tricolour, who was the first prime minister of the country.” The tricolor is also of the poor and also of 135 crore Indians.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that anyone can put the tricolor in their social media profile. He said that the “Gandhi family” is in politics from the very beginning. He said, I believe that Rahul Gandhi should now give a chance to others. It would be great if the leaders of his party should also put their picture with the tricolor. Patra said that Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly said that national policy is above politics and the tricolor does not belong to any party but to the nation. He said, the tricolor has to be hoisted in every house, it cannot be the line of any party, it is the line of the nation.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra appealed to other political parties also to join this campaign. Referring to the “tricolor bike rally” organized by the Union Culture Ministry from the Red Fort to the Parliament House complex, Patra said all MPs were invited for it but most of the MPs who participated were from the BJP. Patra said, “But politics is being done on this too.”
