Gangster Raju shot dead right outside his house in Rajasthan’s Sikar district on Saturday


Notorious gangster Raju Theth was shot to death just outside his home in Rajasthan’s Sikar district on Saturday, police said. Raju was a rival of feared criminal Anandpal Singh who was killed by police in June 2017.

He was shot and killed at the front door of his house on Piprali Road.

According to the police report and camera footage, they came wearing school uniforms and rang the bell in broad daylight to summon him and shoot him.

Raju has filed several criminal cases against him and he is now on bail, police said.

“Raju Theth has been involved in criminal activity for a long time. He was shot dead in a shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon.”

A video of the incident shows four people gathering around his house on Pipralli Road, one of them talking to Raju when suddenly another opens fire. According to police, Raju suffered three gunshot wounds and one other injured in the incident.

After the incident, Rohit Godara, who introduced himself in the Lawrence Bishnoi group, claimed responsibility for the murder on Facebook saying it was revenge of Anand Pal and Balbir. .

Balbir Banuda, a notorious gangster and member of the Anandpal gang, was killed in a gang war in Bikaner Jail in July 2014.

Police said the border between Haryana and Jhunjhunu was sealed while they worked to arrest the accused.
