Assam is becoming a hotbed of “jihadi” activities. State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said this. He said five ‘modules’ of terrorist organization Ansarul Islam were exposed in the last few months. It has been proved beyond doubt that Assam is becoming a haven for Islamic fundamentalists. You can imagine the seriousness when 5 modules are busted and whereabouts of other 5 Bangladeshi nationals are not traced.
Assam already welcomes expansion of BSF’s jurisdiction
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that six members of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) have been arrested from Barpeta in March this year. The leader of this team was a Bangladeshi national who had come to India illegally. He said that Assam has already welcomed the expansion of BSF’s jurisdiction. We are offering all possible support to BSF. We are always working closely with central government agencies.

43 students were studying in the madrasa
Further, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Jamiul Hooda Madrasa was demolished in Morigaon today under Disaster Management Act and UAPA Act. 43 students were studying in this madrasa, now they are enrolled in different schools. It is worrisome for imams from outside Assam to teach Muslim youth in private madrassas. We have already abolished 800 government Madrasas in Assam. But there are many Qawmi madrasas in the state. The citizens, parents should keep watch on these Madrasas and what type of subjects are taught there: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma pic.twitter.com/rAFNKaQJ74 — ANI (@ANI) August 4, 2022
