Assam already welcomes expansion of BSF’s jurisdiction

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that six members of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) have been arrested from Barpeta in March this year. The leader of this team was a Bangladeshi national who had come to India illegally. He said that Assam has already welcomed the expansion of BSF’s jurisdiction. 43 students were studying in the madrasa

Further, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Jamiul Hooda Madrasa was demolished in Morigaon today under Disaster Management Act and UAPA Act. 43 students were studying in this madrasa, now they are enrolled in different schools. It is worrisome for imams from outside Assam to teach Muslim youth in private madrassas.
