Prime Minister Modi will distribute 71,000 appointment letters to new employees in government ministries and organizations via video conference on Friday, attended by Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh.
“Rosgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s promise to prioritize job creation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to serve as a catalyst for additional employment creation and provide meaningful opportunities for young people to empower and participate in national development,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
The Prime Minister will launch the Mela by distributing appointment letters to recruits who will join government departments as Junior Engineers, Loco Pilots, Technicians, Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors and Constables.
Other positions include stenographer, junior accountant, income tax examiner, teacher, nurse, physician, social security official, personal assistant, and multitasking worker.
New officials will also share what they have learned from the Karmayogi Prarambh module, an online orientation course for new employees in various government departments, including a code of conduct necessary to adapt to a new role.
In the Karmayogi Prarambh module, the Code of Conduct includes Work Ethics, Integrity, Personnel Policies and other benefits and allowances. The purpose of this online orientation program is to promote this code of conduct in the nature of civil servants within the country’s citizens.
Prior to this, Prime Minister Modi distributed more than 71,000 messages on November 22 last year and 75,000 in October.
