Users currently get the option of two-step verification in the Meta-owned app.
In this, every time at the time of login, a six-digit security code is sent to the user, which cannot be logged without entering.

The user will also be shown the login time and other related information in the alert.
You can enable two-step verification like this
To enable the two-step verification feature, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of WhatsApp.
After that go to Settings and go to Account.
Now go to the option of Two-Step Verification. There you will be asked to enter a six digit number.
Enter that and enable two-factor authentication.
Now after installing WhatsApp, you will also have to enter this code while registering your mobile number.
