Recipes for five dishes made from peanuts

If peanuts are added to any dish, it enhances its taste a lot.

Perhaps this is the reason why groundnut is a part of every dish in some form or the other in southern India.

At the same time, in North India, it is mostly used for chaat and sweets.

Let us tell you the recipe of four such dishes made from peanuts, which you can make at home in a few minutes.

peanut brittle
For this, first fry a cup of peeled peanuts in a pan till they become crispy and after roasting take them out in a plate.

Now boil half a cup of jaggery and two tablespoons of water in a pan for 5-8 minutes.

After this, add the roasted peanuts and mix it well, then spread this mixture in a plate and when it cools down, cut the peanut chikki into square shape and eat it.

Peanut Chaat
First put boiled peanuts in a large bowl, then add chaat masala, green chutney, Kashmiri red chili powder and mix everything well.

Now add finely chopped onion, boiled sweet corn, grated raw mango, finely chopped tomato, pomegranate, boiled and chopped potatoes, coriander, salt and lemon juice and mix well.

Now put this chaat in a plate and eat it.

peanut pudding
This peanut pudding is rich in protein and a great dessert.

To make this, first roast the ground peanuts in ghee, then add milk to it and let the mixture boil while stirring occasionally.

Now add sugar to it and cook for 2-3 minutes. After this add almonds and cardamom and mix well.

After this, garnish it with some dry fruits and serve it hot.

peanut rice
Fry peanuts, urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and dry whole red chillies in a little cooking oil.

Now add grated coconut to it and fry again for a minute. After this, after cooling all the spices, grind them well and make powder.

Then add mustard seeds, peanuts and curry leaves to the cooking oil and fry. After this, add cooked rice, prepared spice powder and salt to it.

Now boil for five minutes and serve hot.

peanut cookies
Spread butter on a baking sheet, then in a mixing bowl, beat butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar using an electric mixer.

Now add eggs and vanilla extract and beat it well. After this, add flour, peanuts and baking powder to it and beat again.

After this, pour the batter with a large ladle on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, then serve it garnished with chocolate chips.
