Apart from the iPhone, almost all the smartphones in the world work on the Android operating system. This platform from Google runs on devices with premium features and specs as well as entry level devices. These devices have less processing power, due to which many Android apps do not work properly on them. To overcome this problem, developers also offer lite versions of their apps.

Facebook and Google’s many Lite apps are present on the Play Store and now Microsoft is also following it. Entry-level smartphones are available in India for less than Rs 10,000. Most of them have 2GB to 3GB of RAM and 32GB to 64GB of storage. Microsoft Outlook Lite can run smoothly on such a device, as the phone only needs 1GB of RAM to run it.
