The Kerala story marks a whopping ₹112 crore by Day 9 at the box office

The film Kerala story is having a great time as it enters the rupees 100 crore club today with exceptional reviews and response from both audience as well as critics. Film directed by Sudipto Sen has crossed its box office collection of rupees 100 crore and has collected rupees 112 crore by now. It has been nine days that the movie was released in the theatres after much controversies and difficulties. The movie was released on 5 May in India.

On the opening Day, the film collected around rupees 8 crore at the box office and from there it has grown tremendously. Despite getting backlash from particular communities to teasers getting Shadow banned and film getting banned still the film has smoothly achieved this mark. The film is attracting much attention as it revolves around Kerala women and how they are being converted by Muslims and are made to join ISIS.

The film still continues to registering a lot of growth as the ticket counters as on Saturday, 13 May the film collected around rupees 20 crore which is huge. As per critics, this Trend will keep continuing and bigger figures can be seen on Sunday which is today. The film stars actors like Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani etc. Actress Adah Sharma today shared a social media post where she thanked her audience for making the Kerala story number 1 female lead movie. She said “audience aap Jeet Gaye you won”.
