The Kerala Story grows by 39.73 percent on Day 2 at the Box Office!

The Kerala Story Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah is becoming stronger at the box office. The film was released on May 5 after much backlash from Twitter over its claim of 32000 girls being converted and sent to Syria and Yemen to join terrorist organisation Isis. Even after so many drawbacks the film had a good opening day collection and the day two collection is even more astonishing.

The film stars famous actors like Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani in female lead roles and male leads are Vijay Krishna and Pranav Misshra. The second day earning on Saturday is ₹11.22 crore with a growth of 39.73 percent. On Friday, the earning was ₹8.03 crore. The total box office collection till now stands at ₹19.25 crore. The film was made on a budget of Rs 40 crores.

Famous analyst Tarun Adarsh also praised the film and called it sensational he said that the film has set box office on fire on Day 2. He hinted that the growth on 2nd day that is on Saturday was 39.73%. The film, as per him, is a Remarkable achievement as it is not riding on Stardom but on word of mouth. The call for ban on the films seem to have not affected its box office collection and continues to grow. The makers have said that they stand with the figure 32000 even today after all the backlash that it is an exaggerated figure.
