Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film is directed by talented filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. This highly anticipated project has been making headlines lately thanks to its stellar cast and technical staff. The official title starring Talapasi Vijay, who is in the limelight as a gangster drama, will be released today (Friday, February 3).

On Thursday, the creator of the ambitious project, Lokesh Kanagaraj, announced the title’s release date, along with a first look at protagonist Thalapathy Vijay. The unique poster contains a bloody sketch of a popular star. Unlike the usual first look posters, the new poster for Thalapathy 67 features Vijay as a rugged avatar never seen before. In particular, it was foretold that the image of him posing with blood on his hands would be a different experience for fans.

Interestingly, netizens speculate that Talapathi Vijay is playing a grayscale character in Talapathi 67 after revealing the first look of the film on social media. Interestingly, they found the word ‘Eagle’ in the First Look sketch and believed it could be the star’s character name or even the official title of the film. Others have concluded that it is the word that connects Thalapathy 67 and LCU. However, they will have to wait until evening for the secret to be revealed.

Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead opposite Thalapathy Vijay in the film, sharing the screen with the star after 14 years. The production team of ‘Talapathy 67’ recently released character posters of eight actors cast in supporting roles. It has now been officially confirmed that Vijay’s film debut in Tamil will be starring Bollywood senior actor Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. As previously reported, talented directors Gotham Menon and Miskin, as well as senior actors Arjun Sarja, also joined the film.
