Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s film Shehzada turned out to be a big disappointment. The film could not even on Rs 1 crore at his box office on Tuesday, which is on February 28. One of the reasons why this could have happened is the release of MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Pathaan and the recently released Selfiee starring Akshay Kumar.
However, looking at the number of box office, the movie won’t be able to run for a long time in the theaters with this pace. For those who are unaware, Shehzada is basically the Hindi remain of Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which stars Allu Arjun.
Shahzada box office collection is not very appealing. The film produced by Rohit Dhawan was released on February 17 and did not mark a very good opening. On day one it collected just Rs 7 crore which is too less. Ever since then, the film has only seen a downtrend. By the 10th day, it earned just Rs 31 lakh at domestic box office.
Shahzada movie could only collect Rs 30.02 crores till date. Meanwhile, Shehzada had an altogether 6.54 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday, February 28.
