Bollywood stunned by pathan box office collection! To enter Rs 900 cr club soon

Dominating the box office with no competitors in sight was Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan’s Third Friday. The film grossed just over 5000 rupees, taking a total of 464 rupees corenet in the domestic market on Friday. The Hindi version of Baahubali: The Conclusion is the highest grossing film in the domestic market at Rs 510.99 crore.

Revolving around an Indian spy trying to protect his country from a deadly attack, Pathaan seduced audiences and brought huge numbers to theaters. Pinkvilla reported that they collected another Rs 5.25 cr on Friday.

Yash Raj Film Productions shared on Friday that the film’s gross worldwide box office collection is approaching the Rs 900 crore mark. It already recorded a collection of Rs 888 crore by Friday with a total collection of Rs 337 crore coming from the international market. Initial estimates suggest that Pathaan will easily fit into the Rs 900 crore club this weekend. However, it remains to be seen how strong it will be after this weekend, as both Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are set to hit theaters next week.

Ahead of its release, Pathaan’s performance at the box office was considered to be of great importance for the Hindi film industry given the lean period post-pandemic. However, trade analysts were convinced that the combination of names like Siddharth Anand, YRF and Shah Rukh Khan would make it a blockbuster.
