Medical students are demanding a postponement of NEET PG 2023 as the deadline for mandatory internships has been extended to June 30. In particular, the NBE has set the exam date for March 5 and the results are due by March 31, but students cannot participate in the medical consultation course held in July unless they have completed Semester 1-1. year internship.

They are urging authorities to delay the NEET PG 2023 exam by six to eight weeks as students have plenty of time off. They say this will help you better prepare for exams and complete internships.

After the National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced the NEET PG 2023 exam date on January 6, hundreds of medical aspirants have demanded a delay of 2-3 months to take the NEET PG 2023 exam.

Last week, the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FODA), Indian Medical Association (IMA) and prospective applicants informed Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya that they would postpone the NEET PG 2023 due to lack of time to prepare for the exam and the gap of several months between exams.

Why are they asking for the NEET PG 2023 postponement?

Medical aspirants frustrated with test administration over the past three years fill Twitter with tweets about how the delays and decisions of the NBE and Medical Counseling Council (MCC) have affected students.

Originally, the NEET PG 2022 schedule was scheduled for March 12, and the last date to join after the NEET PG Counseling Stray Round is March 16, 2022. In consideration of student requests, the NEET PG 2022 exam has been postponed to May. 21.
